The Burning Black: The Legend of Black Shuck

The Burning Black: The Legend of Black Shuck released in June of 2019 and stood as Mark’s first foray into horror. Horror with a folkloric twist, that is.

Paying homage to his place of origin, this graphic novel is Mark’s personal re-imagining of the Black Shuck folklore from the county of Suffolk in England. Moody and cinematic, the book imagines an origin for the dreaded hell hound, one set in the historical conflicts that birthed the East of England as it’s known today.

The book was published by Renegade Arts Entertainment and can be purchased internationally here.

Alternatively, in both Canada and the UK, readers can ask their local bookshop to order them in a copy.
