Mark’s Photo-illustration takes a large departure away from the work he is best known for, while simultaneously not following suit with your standard photo book.

Instead, when seeking to create a photo book of his own photography, Mark imagined a book whereby Canadian comic book illustrators and artists would be challenged with recreating his photography in their unique and individual art styles to create a mixed media, collaborative art book that spans both comic book art and photography in one single project.

This is where Photo-illustration was born.
